The saddle room was the first restaurant we dined with when restaurants reopened after the covid shutdown. Honestly i wouldn t have known about it if it wasn t suggested by a date as a good place to meet for drinks. The saddle room encompasses the cherished traditions of dining at the shelbourne developed over generations. The restaurant was converted from race horse stables offering the same quality menus throughout.

The service is always spot on and the food has never disappointed. The saddle room offers an american eclectic menu that changes with each season. Situated next to the forbidden corner which is a very large tourist attraction in the dales. The charming cottages at the saddle room feature a living area with a tv and a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave and an oven.

I m very happy he suggested it as it really was a great place to meet. They offer an excellent variety of appetizers salads and entrees.
